  7.     Never mind that her sneakers are size 10 and that she emits
  8. high-pitched squeals when she hits the ball. Coltish
  9. Yugoslavian Monica Seles, 16, is a new princess of women's
  10. tennis. She has notched major upsets against court queens
  11. Martina Navratilova and top-ranked Steffi Graf. Seles is seeded
  12. second in this week's French Open, and she is a seed that keeps
  13. sprouting. Last year at this time she was a mere 5-ft. 4-in.
  14. kid. This year she has shot up to 5 ft. 9 1/2 in., and she is
  15. expected to become a court-commanding six-footer. Meantime, she
  16. is modifying her Woody Woodpecker giggle. "People ask me for
  17. an autograph," she says, "and they also ask me, `Laugh.'"
